Mark Kreider

Hello! I'm an ecologist who cares about creating equitable, useful, and trans-disciplinary science. I'm an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and a PhD candidate in the W.A. Franke College of Forestry & Conservation at the University of Montana. My research focuses on understanding the natural role of wildfire, how ecosystems and societies respond to disturbance, and how to make public lands accessible to all. I'm passionate about linking art and science to communicate my work in accessible and engaging ways.
